Environmental Science Work Experience
The School of Earth, Environment and Sustainability at the University of Leeds does ground breaking environmental research that has wide-ranging and positive impacts on the world that we live in. One part of this research is studying the importance of trees and woodlands, with the team at LEAF (Leeds Ecosystems Atmosphere and Forest Centre). To help this aim, the University has created Gair Wood, a new research woodland in the north of Leeds.
We are offering work experience placements to learn about and help with our research. Over the course of the week successful applicants will meet academics from across the department to hear about their careers, assist with data collection at Gair Wood, learn how scientific reports are written, and how science is communicated.
