This online webinar will introduce teachers, advisors, and post-16 students to exciting and often lesser-known subject areas across Engineering & Physical Sciences including Chemical & Process Engineering, Materials Science Engineering and Computer Science.

Delivered by Professor Nicole Hondow, Academic Lead for Student Recruitment, this 45-minute webinar will run from 16:15 - 17:00 on Tuesday 29 September via Zoom.

Whether you're guiding students through UCAS choices or looking to expand your own subject knowledge, this series will equip you with the tools to support informed decisions and inspire future environmental changemakers.

What will be covered?

Nicole will highlight how Engineering & Physical Science subjects differ from school-level study, introduce lesser-known subjects that can be studied at University, explore the courses available at Leeds and opportunities to apply to an industry placement.

The webinar will also provide insights into graduate career outcomes and real world applications. We will be joined by two undergraduate students studying Engineering with a Q&A at the end.
