CyberFirst Programme
Students are invited to the University of Leeds to discover more about Computer Science and related opportunities and careers, around the key theme of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine. Delivered by academics, postgraduate students and undergraduate ambassadors, students will take part in practical workshops in specialist IT labs, explore the University's campus, and have the opportunity to ask questions to current undergraduates.
Schools are welcome to bring a maximum of ten Year 8 and 9 students.

What are the planned activities?
A timetable will be sent to you upon confirmation of your place, but a sample itinerary is below:
- 09:30 - Arrival and Registration
- 09:45 - Welcome and Introduction
- 10:15 - Lab Session
- 12:00 - Lunch & Campus Tour
- 13:00 - Lab Session
- 14:15 - Ambassador Q&A
- 14:45 - Evaluation and departure
What are the requirements for the event?
School groups wanting to attend this event must:
- Have 10 students interested in attending
Where does the event take place?
Activities will be held in the School of Computer Science on the University of Leeds campus.
