Computer Science Enhanced Campus Tours

A half-day campus event for year 12 students with an interest in studying Computer Science at university.

Available between January - July 2026 at a date of your choice. This is for Year 12 students only, maximum 30 students p/visit.

Get a taste of what it is like to study Computer Science at the University of Leeds and learn about related careers. You will experience life as an undergraduate student, tour the campus and meet undergraduate students. 

This event is free of charge and a lunch space can be provided upon request.

Activity details

Students will take part in a one hour computer based activity led by postgraduate researchers with a focus on AI into Medicine.

Booking Your Place

Select a morning (9:30 - 12pm) or afternoon (12 - 2:30pm) visit.

Please note that your place is not confirmed till you have received confirmation via email from a member of the STEM Outreach team. This will include the event schedule and risk assessment.

What are the requirements for the Practical Day?

Teachers to book on behalf of a school group (maximum of 30 p/school). To attend students must be in year 12/ level 1 studying Maths & Physics at Post-16.

 

Where does the event take place?

Activities will be held in the School of Computer Science on the University of Leeds campus.
