Celebrating Women in STEM

Join us on Friday 6 March 2026, 9:10 - 14:55 to Celebrate National Women’s Day and inspire the next generation of female/ nonbinary scientists and engineers.
Year 9 students are invited to take part in a series of practical and interactive workshops showcasing Physics, Bioengineering and Fluid Dynamics. Students will receive a tour of the campus by current undergraduate engineers with a chance to ask questions at the end of the day.
For school groups (max 15 p/school). Female and nonbinary students only with an interest in Science and Maths.
Activity will be led by female/ nonbinary postgraduate researchers at the University of Leeds.
The event is free of charge, but students will need to bring their own lunch.
